Emergency Plan

1. Introduction

This document provides key information to assist with providing effective medical response in the event of a player, match official, manager/coach, or spectator being injured or becoming ill whilst on OUFC sites.

 

 

2. Venue Details OUFC currently uses two facilities for training and match days:

 

2.1.Otford Recreation Ground Address Otford Recreation Ground, Otford High Street, Otford, Kent, TN14 5PG Access Information Pitch-side access is only available via the gate opposite the stables which is approx. 100m up the unfinished road between Sally’s Cake Emporium and Halal restaurant on Otford High Street. The combination for the padlock on the gate is 3405.

2.2.Hale Lane Recreation Ground Address Hale Lane Recreation Ground, Hale Lane, Otford, Kent, TN14 5NP Access Information Pitch-side access is not possible from the car park at Hale Lane due to bollards, however the car park is <15m from the pitch and would allow emergency services to park close by.

4. First Aid Equipment/Facilities

First Aid Kit

 

All OUFC team managers have been issued with a first aid kit. FA/County regulations require that managers must always bring their first aid kit on match days. For refills of team first aid kits speak to the club secretary or welfare officer.

Defibrillator

Closest to Otford Recreation Ground

A defibrillator has been installed beside the lobby door on the outside of the pavilion.

​

A public access defibrillator is located outside of Otford Parish Council’s offices, 21 Otford High St, Otford, TN14 5PG.

Turn right out of Otford Rec car park and the council offices are 30m along the street, on your left-hand side.

 

There is also a public access defibrillator located at Otford Station, TN14 5QY.

From Otford Rec car park turn left and carry on straight over the roundabout in Otford village. The station is approx. 100m up the road on your right-hand side.

 

Hale Lane Recreation Ground

A defibrillator has been installed on the outside wall of Hale Lane pavilion.

A public access defibrillator is located at Yvonne’s newsagent, 44 Telston Lane, Otford, TN14 5LA.

From the recreation ground drive to the bottom of Hale Lane and you will see the small parade of shops including Yvonne’s at the beginning of Telston Lane.
